Around 6 pm, a large number of rioters left airport and went to the Tung Chung MTR Station. They broke the fire hydrant and water began to gush into the station. At around 6:30, police officers began to clear out the rioters at the station. Some rioters tried to surround and stop the police.
下午18:00左右，大批从机场撤来的暴徒来到东涌站，将站内消防栓打开，导致站内到处是水。同时，他们还在站内大肆破坏。站内随机发出安全广播，提示无关人士尽快离开。下午18:30左右，警方来到东涌站展开清场行动，大批“观察员”、“关爱孩子”组织成员开始围堵警察，试图阻碍警察清场。

#HK Airport Authority told GT that flights at the HK airport remained normal on Sunday, with only a few cancellations and some delays. Protesters ignored a court injunction and clogged airport traffic arteries and destroyed facilities at a MTR station connecting the airport.
下午，反对派暴力分子堵塞机场交通，并损毁了港铁通向机场的东涌地铁站。有消息称，不少航班因空乘人员无法到位而延误。香港机场管理局在19:30左右回复《环球时报》记者问询时称，今日香港国际机场航班升降大致正常，少量航班取消及部分航班延误。
