美国诗人Edgar Allen Poe（埃德加·爱伦·坡）有一首诗《The Raven（乌鸦）》，全诗的气氛自始至终都是恐怖、阴沉、黑暗、无望，诗中的乌鸦对“我”的一切祈祷和提问，回答只有“Nevermore”，诗的结尾处如下：
Quoth the raven, `Nevermore.
乌鸦说 “永不复还”
And the raven, never flitting, still is sitting, still is sitting
那乌鸦并没飞去 它仍然栖息 仍然栖息
On the pallid bust of Pallas just above my chamber door;

Nevermore（永不超生）是一支美国的死亡金属乐队。
Lord Bronislaw Nevermore是瑞典小说家Agneta Pleijel的小说《Lord Nevermore》里的主要角色。（作者是存在的，但是暂时查不到这本书）

Lone Druid- Syllabear

德鲁伊
简称熊德，英文缩写LD。
Druid是古代凯尔特人的祭司，传说他们拥有把人变成动物的魔力。
Syllabear是为了纪念代码编写者Syl-la-ble对DOTA所做出的贡献，把Syllable结尾处的ble改成bear，表现德鲁伊身上的熊族特征。
